Gary Williams is a Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) Subject Matter Expert. Over the past decade, he has integrated and supported the development of a comprehensive set of Private Infrastructure, U.S. Government, Military “Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Best Practices” and methodologies. Mr. Williams has been instrumental in the execution of RVA’s for the North American Class 1 Freight Railroads, the Passenger Railroads, and Public Transportation. Retired from 22 years of service with U.S. Army Special Operations Forces, Mr. Williams has served as the Operations Security Officer for the U.S. Army Special Forces Command, the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and numerous other organizations.

Frederick C. Hellwig is a Risk and Vulnerability Assessment (RVA) Subject Matter Expert. Mr. Hellwig has supported the development of a comprehensive set of Private Infrastructure, U.S. Government, Military “Risk and Vulnerability Assessment Best Practices” and methodologies. Mr. Hellwig as executed RVA’s in government and private sector organizations and has been instrumental in developing comprehensive physical security programs. He has performed over forty (40) worldwide Risk and Vulnerability Assessments for military and commercial organizations. He holds several certifications in Emergency Management, Homeland Security Exercise Evaluation, Information Operations, and related security disciplines. Mr. Hellwig retired after 20 years of commissioned service in the US Army, and he currently works on transportation sector security projects and information/intelligence sharing initiatives.
Chief Jim Harmes began his career in the fire service in 1972 as a paid-on-call fire fighter in a small community in Michigan. He was appointed Fire Chief, full-time in 1985. Currently he is with the Grand Blanc Fire Department and has the held the position since 1989. The Chief is Past President of the International Association of Fire Chiefs (2006-2007) and has served on numerous committees during his tenure with the IAFC. He has also served as President of both the Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs and the Southeastern Michigan Association of Fire Chiefs. Chief Harmes has taught Incident Command System (ICS) courses since 1990 and has been an instructor in the Fire Service for over 30 years. The ICS-100 through ICS-400 courses has been his latest topics that he has been teaching.
Christopher J. Poirier is a training & development Subject Matter Expert. From 2003-2009, Mr. Poirier supported the curriculum development and training of Army Information Operations (IO), which includes the core disciplines of Operations Security, Psychological Operations, Military Deception, Computer Network Operations, and Electronic Warfare. As a strategic communication professional, he has worked and taught in the fields of public affairs, public relations, marketing communications, and negotiation. Chris also has experience in risk & vulnerability assessment, intelligence analysis, physical security, consequence management, and emergency medical operations. He is a self-defense and combatives expert and has taught personal protection seminars for over thirty years. Mr. Poirier retired after 23 years of service as a US Army officer.
