IIT Awarded SETA Contract by the Railroad Research Foundation
IIT has been awarded a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contract by the Railroad Research Foundation (RRF). Under this contract, IIT will support the RRF’s development, production, and testing of a Rail Corridor Risk Management Tool, Rail Corridor Hazmat Response and Recovery Tool, and Safe Haven Concept. IIT will provide to the RRF independent technical advice, management and administration, management interface, identification and management of risk, research, integration, translation of operational requirements into configured systems, verification of designs and technical specifications, lifecycle control and management, testing, quality control, and training development and execution.
