IIT has been awarded the contract to conduct a statewide medical exercise to help hospitals complete Joint Commission Accreditation requirements and prepare for large scale incidents impacting the State. The May 2009 exercise will incorporate approximately 80 hospitals throughout seven medical regions in the State of Arkansas. The full-scale exercise will be preceded by a series of seven tabletop exercises (one in each region), to prepare the hospitals for the full-scale exercise.
